It is only a 2 minute walk from the railway station and the village centre with its numerous shops and restaurants to Chalet Bergidyll. The surroundings are quiet set back from the main village street.

In winter when there is enough snow the ski runs from First and Bodmi end at the chalet door. In summer Chalet Bergidyll is the perfect starting point for numerous mountain activities, being close to the gondola, mountain railway and bus station.

The Sports Centre nearby offers a range of activities including indoor swimming pool, sauna, rock-climbing training wall and ice skating rink (in winter).
